My Holliday

                  Chapter one: Game time (yawn) I looked out the window while I was still in bed, “it’s morning already?” I asked. I slowly closed my eyes and just then my mum opened the door I pretended that I was sleeping. “Sweetie wake up it's time to go get your cousins.” My mum went down stairs to get me some clothes.

 I got out of my bed and got dressed. “Come get your breakfast!” My dad said. After breakfast we got in the car. And went all the way to to Auckland. We said hi picked up my cousins and left. When we got home we started playing on the PS4 ( playstation 4 edition. ) first we put in MINECRAFT.

We played and built houses. My cousin Joshua built a TNT cannon. I found a castle and he blew it up! With he’s TNT cannon. When it was Williams turn he built a farm with horses, cows, sheep, pigs and llamas. I tried to build a elevator but it didn't work. So I'm just gonna build a ladder to get up to the next floor.

 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. The next morning we got up ( I GOT UP LAST :/ ) Joshua said: let’s play MURDER HIDE AND SEEK!!!!!!! So we did. William was in, that  means he’s the MURDERER! So he counted to thirty and the rest of us were hiding. By the time he got to thirty we were all hiding.

The way the game works is that one person counts to thirty and the other hide the seeker is the murderer he/she gets a staff/stick for the knife or hammer etc. And when he/she found them you can't just say found you you have to chase them until you’ve tagged them with your staff/stick. I was hiding in the closet he would never find me, there are toooooooo many closets in our house.


  Chapter two: I'M CAUGHT I was hiding about for two minutes. When I heard creaking sounds from outside the closet then the door beside me slowly started to open. My code name for help was: delicious guacamole sauce!!! Oh and I forgot to say that if you're a hider you have a code name for help. And if you call your code name out loud the rest of the hiders will come help you. But, you can only use it once every game. So, I called out loud “delicious guacamole sauce!!”

Then Annabel and Joshua came to help . The way that the hiders help each other is to say their code names 5 times before the seeker tags the hider that called for help. So they helped me and william ran away. Now I had to find a new hiding spot. I found a hiding spot in my room: under the bed. And then I heard running and Joshua saying his code name: banana split is the best!!

I quickly ran to them and Annabel was there waiting for me then we both said at the same time delicious guacamole sauce strawberry salad with toste. But it was too late and he got tagged that means we need to go hide before he tagges us. So I ran away from him BUT HE THREW THE STICK IN MY FACE. NOOOOOOOOOO now I’m out and Annabel is the only one left. “I’M TAGGED”

 I screeched out. I went to the out section where Joshua was sitting. Then I heard “boom boom boom.” footsteps were coming from outside of the out zone. It was Annabel and William. Annabel was trying to run as fast as the wind, with William right behind her back. William was catching up to her when she said PEUSE! It sounded like a dying pig and a cow at the same time.

Then she said I NEED WATER! So she ran down stairs and William was like “seriously!” Then she came running back up stairs. And she skreemed “PLAY.” then she ran the opposite direction. And William ran after her then I suddenly heard “NOOOOOOOOO!” I GOT TAGGED! Then Joshua said OK finally game over Annabel won. They stayed for three days and then we dropped them back off at their house.

A explanation about a COLAB conference

A conference is when a parent comes to the school after school to know how their child learns every day. But in COLAB we do it different. You know a normal conference is when the teacher shows the parent their child's report and they talk about the child's learning. But in COLAB the child leads the conference so the child shows their parent the learning they do and how they do they're learning. But sometimes the child gets stuck on something hard. There are two teachers available for the child's conference to help them with they'er conference.

I was so nervous on my first day as a Year 5. But my mum and dad were there helping me with my school stuff. They made me feel comfortable.

“Bye mum, bye dad” I said sadly. I didn't want to let go of mum and dad but they were gone. I had to manage on my own.

I sat down on the carpet and listened to what the teachers said. I started to feel better about being a Year 5. The teachers were dressed up in work hats and hi-vis.

We started with a scavenger hunt. What breakfast did you have?? Cornflakes.

Yeah yes 1 point for me.

Time to go to the hall for powhiri. We sat in lines to welcome new people to college street normal school. We sang songs that welcomed them.

My first day went well! I wonder what we're doing tomorrow? I'm so excited!!!!!!
